We haven't had much rain while we've been here on the Maine coast but in no way did I think we'd had a drought. Just look at those pictures! The ocean is drying up! I just can't believe it - it wasn't like that this morning when we left the house. This is just incredible...it has to be related to global warming. I just...what? Low tide? Well then, nevermind.
So those pictures were taken in Sedgwick, Maine where knucklehead's best friend's mother has a summer home. I took the pictures from their front yard looking out the Benjamin River into Eggomoggin Reach. Knucklehead spent some time there in summers when he was a kid. We were visiting his friend's mother. The house was built in the 1800's.
And then when we got back to the house after the visit we found that someone had erased the mountains on the island. I mean just look at that picture - no mountains! How could they do that? What? That's fog? Uhm..okay.
